Description
Part of our Core Curriculum series, this class is a comprehensive introduction to the science, art, and philosophy of living with the earth through the ancient tools and skills of survival.
In this class we cover the basics shelter, water, fire and food as well as some of the core tools, principles and strategies for living in any condition on the planet. From emergency survival to long term living close to the earth as a steward of life, this class introduces the skills and tools you need to survive and thrive.

Who? Adult (under 16 with parent)
Core classes open to all ages and skill abilities. The class content is designed for adults however kids are welcome with a registered parent or guardian. Youth ages 12-15 are 50% off, and under 12 are free.
When: Sunday 9:00-5:00
This class is on a Sunday before the Gathering. Core Classes usually run from 9:00-5:00 on the Saturday before our Monthly Gathering. Check our schedule for exact dates. (This is often the first Saturday of every month- but not always so please check the schedule.)

Cost: Currently on a sliding scale of $25-$100
Be Supported: pay what you can: $25.00 - $50.00
Be a Supporter- pay what you want: $50.00 - $100.00
Classes are valued at $100 and no one is turned away for lack of funds. (See donation button at the bottom of any page to pay any amount.)

Pandemic Prevention Policy
Tribal Edge is taking every precaution to slow down the spread of the pandemic. This means that we have some new safety policies in place that you will be required to agree to in order to participate with live, in person classes and events until the pandemic is resolved. We are following CDC guidelines and Washington State requirements. The following guidelines are for individuals, partners, or family groups/households that live together.
All scheduled training is subject to change with State requirements.
You will be refunded for any canceled classes due to closures.
Do not attend a class if you have been sick within the last 21 days, are feeling sick or have been exposed to sick people.
You will be expected to wear a mask when in close proximity to others (less than 6 feet) or indoors.
We will supply hand sanitizer, however you are expected to bring your own mask and sanitizing supplies.
You are expected to maintain social distancing of 6 feet and respect other’s space and personal needs and requests.
You will need your own tools and equipment if the class requires such items.
There will be no sharing of food or drinks at all events. Please bring your own food and water/drinks.
Failure to respect these guidelines will result in you being asked to leave the class/land.
