Founder/Head Instructor
Ben Sanford
Born and raised on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula of Washington state, Ben has been deeply absorbed in nature, science, health, and fitness since a young age and has spent most of his time barefoot outside pushing his limits by playing, training, and working hard in the natural world. His coaching, healing, and consulting practice reflects a lifetime of study and experience and over 15 years of coaching individuals and groups in a variety of human potential skillsets. In 2002, Ben founded Tribal Edge primal arts training center located in Blyn Washington on five acres between Jamestown S'klallam Tribal land and the Buckhorn wilderness.

Joshua Silliman
Joshua Silliman has been training with Tribal Edge for 6 years. He did a 6-month caretaking program living in a handmade shelter he made. He volunteered for two years before he started the apprenticeship which he graduated in 2.5 years. He has taken the standard and the back-to-back class with the tracker school. Also the Landmark Forum about self-transformation, He did Kamana 1 a naturalist home study, coyote mentoring, and the art of mentoring from the wilderness awareness school. He is in Phase 3 of Sikal Asian fighting arts. He is a certified arborist and a co-owner of samurai pruning and tree service. His passion is mobility and invisibility.
